One of the first places you'll head to in LA will be Hollywood where film legends live on. You can wander down Hollywood Boulevard - the street with all the stars, and past Mann's Chinese Theatre the one with the famous handprints. The starry-eyed can also take a sneaky tour of the Hollywood Hills to see the front gates of A-listers homes. Families and, well pretty much everyone, will enjoy a few days at Disneyland, its new sister California Land and Universal Studios. Other must-sees are the J. Fly there
Flying to Los Angeles takes at least 12 hours from the UK, but you can fly direct from London or Manchester. You can fly to LA with a number of scheduled airlines including British Airways, Virgin Atlantic, American Airlines, United, and Continental or cheaper carriers like Fly Zoom. To nab a cheap flight to LA take off between November and February, when the weather is cooler but the prices are cheaper. LA is lucky enough to have a fairly mild climate so even in winter you won't be too cold.
