When to go to

Alicante

Alicante Weather

Alicante has a very mild climate with highs in the summer of just over 30°C and lows in the winter of around 15°C, although it can get a little chilly at night so don't forget a warm top! The rain falls predominantly in September and October, with dry weather for the rest of the year with just an occasional shower. With more than 10 hours of sunshine a day all summer it's easy to see why Alicante is a popular holiday destination.

Alicante's Tourist Season

Summer is the prime tourist season in Alicante, when droves of unsuspecting British holidaymakers won't find any cafes or restaurants open during the afternoon siesta between 2pm and 4pm. The accommodation and flight prices are highest between June and August, but the weather in April and May is also great for visiting, although you might not get such a tan. In fact, unless you go during the rainy season on September and October, Alicante has plenty to offer all year round so why not try to beat the crowds and get a bargain?
