Events in Altinkum
The Muslim fast of Ramadan takes place every year and lasts for one month. During this time the resort of Altinkum quietens down somewhat as the Muslim community do not eat or drink between sunrise and sunset. As a tourist you will still be able to eat and drink when you wish, but if you do enter a cafe or restaurant during the breaking of fasts be respectful. There are annual cinema and music festivals during the summer months that you are unlikely to find out about before you arrive so keep an eye out!
