Foreign currencies and traveller's cheques can be exchanged at banks, bureaux de change, airports, railway stations, ports and major hotels in Cyprus at the official exchange rates. American Express, Diners Club, MasterCard and Visa are widely accepted in Cyprus, as well as Poundcheque cards. ATMs are widely available. The exchange office on Kleanthous Kalogera Street is generally well regarded by tourists as it offers competitive rates.
