Turkish Lira (TL), but Euros € are also widely accepted. Cash can be changed at banks and post offices across Bodrum, as well as withdrawn from ATMs so check around for the best price! Euros often work out cheaper so always ask if they are accepted.

Turkish, although English is quite widely spoken as well as Russian, and many Turkish people have learned some German at school.

Entry:

UK nationals need a passport valid for at least six months and to buy a 90 day visa at the beginning of their Bodrum holiday. It is cheapest to pay for the visa with a £10 note since there's a surcharge for using Euros and Turkish Lira are not accepted.
