The Most popular time to visit Canada is during the summer. In the South, this means between early May and late September and in the North, between mid June and mid September. Winter temperatures can be bitterly cold and not really worth braving except for winter specific pursuits (for example skiing or seeing the northern lights). The autumn is a less popular time amongst tourists and can be the best time to visit, especially in some national parks.
