Iveagh Gardens
posted by vfranks What fantastic gardens! Stunning and slightly wild, although the landscaping makes them what they are, with fountains and a rose garden as well as a maze forming the backbone of the design. Imaginosity
posted by yhenderson Wow, what a find! This is just the ideal place to bring kids! It's fun, interactive and with a good mix of physical activity and education. A really great day out was had by all. Trinity College
posted by wllora We went for a stroll here pretty early on the Sunday morning and it was serene and lovely, I guess students really do sleep in on the weekends!! Next time we go back to Dublin we'll go for a guided tour but this was a pretty good way to see the place. Art Alley
posted by nshaner I was staying with friends in Dublin and they took me to the Malahide area and I was really captivated with the art street here. It's a free space for exhibitions, and the art was pretty top drawer. Temple Bar
posted by hmurray Quite simply it's THE place to be, day or night really. My mates and I were staying just round the corner and spent most of our time here, in the shops and pubs by day and heading to the clubs in the evenings. Dublin is AWESOME! |
If Ireland is the emerald isle then Dublin is the multicultural jewel in its crown. Over the last decade and a half it has blossomed thanks to an influx of new residents and a steady stream of tourists who flock to see its higgledy-piggledy array of buildings and enchanting cultural scene. Dublin car hire can enhance the city experience, and is an essential if you're planning on travelling further afield. If you hop on a flight to Dublin then you can easily collect your car hire from Dublin Airport. Ferries across the Irish Sea provide the other route into Ireland for many visitors, with the advantage that you can bring your own car. Dublin is fairly congested at peak periods, particularly in the centre, so proper planning will get you to your destination on time. The colleges of Dublin University are architecturally the equals of England's Oxbridge universities. Amongst them Trinity College is the best place to visit with its Elizabethan history worn on its sleeve. A leisurely stroll across St Stephen's Green is also recommended, whilst the Irish Museum of Modern Art is an attraction for fans of contemporary work. The Dublin hotels provide easy access to these attractions but car rental in Dublin will let you explore without having to seek out sluggish public transport.Hiring A Car In Dublin
