Artisan Fair
posted by xroby The Artisan fair has a great sollection of handicrafts on sale. It happens every Sunday by the Praca Republica. There are lots of gem stones available for sale as well as leather and metal work. Its worth getting food at one of the stalls here too. |
Sao Paulo is the most cosmopolitan of all Brazil's cities and whilst it may not have the beaches of Rio or Salvador, its culture and cuisine more than make up for this. There are places offering Sao Paulo car hire located throughout the city, with plenty of car hire from Sao Paulo Airport for when you arrive on one of the cheap flights to Sao Paulo. You should avoid using your car rental in Sao Paulo during rush hour, as the city is infamous for congestion, but due to the car ownership culture in Sao Paolo many areas are far more accessible when you can steer clear of public transport. Sao Paulo car hire is the only way to become a real 'paulistano', as getting a car is treated as a rite of passage in this city. The first place you drive down should be Paulista Avenue, a feature of many postcards of the cities and a great place to find hotels in Sao Paulo. When the city becomes too much, visit Ibirapuera Park, a massive area of woods, lakes and sports facilities containing some of the city's museums such as the Modern Art Museum.Hiring a car in Sao Paulo
