Places to visit in Suva

For getting around Suva car hire or walking tours are both equally common within the city centre. Start with the Fiji Museum, which has a rich variety of exhibits, including features on the island's cannibalistic past! See too the Parliament of Fiji and the gorgeous University of the South Pacific, which has its own botanical garden. The Shree Laxmi Narayan Temple is also worth a visit, along with the Holy Trinity Market - and check out the town market for local delicacies such as Kava. It's worth booking one of the cheap Suva hotels downtown for the excellent restaurants and entertainment in the area.
