This is heaven! I can't believe I touched the MOON! There is a bit here (not at all like cheese) along with some amazing historic flying machines like the Wright brothers' original plane!

 National Harbor

Whilst I do take umbrage at them just slapping the word national on everything, we had several lovely evenings down at the harbour enjoying good food and pondering taking a boat cruise after long days at a conference. We never did quite get round to it though...

 Great Falls Park

Great park! Amazing views of the falls-rapids of the Pontomac river and we had a lovely day out in the fresh air before back to the sightseeing schedule the next day!

 National Cathedral

It caught my eye as an anomaly on the landscape, with its European stylings it stood out and called to me. It's totally stunning and you can't miss the views from the Pilgrim's Gallery.

 United States Botanical Garden

A lovely section of the National Mall, I love to see the native flowers when i'm on holiday, so the National Garden was understandably a highlight, with the First Ladies Water Garden lovely too.
