Emirates operate 2 direct, daily flights from Manchester to Dubai. Flight time is just under 8 hours to Dubai International Airport which is only about 4km away from the centre of the city.

At the time of writing there are no rail links to the city, however in September 2009 the 1st metro station at the airport is due to open with a 2nd one on a different line due to open early in 2010.

There are air conditioned buses that run on various routes into the city or you can take registered taxis which are usually available in abundance.
