Lagos in Nigeria is undeniably chaotic but as a result of its huge population there is a great melting pot of cultures, music and cuisine that help to compensate for its busy roads and crowded streets. It is difficult to have a more adventurous time in any other city, so those with a love of new experiences will be the first to book up cheap Lagos hotels. A flight to Lagos may last six and a half to nine hours with different airlines offering cheap flights to Lagos traversing different routes. Lagos flights land at Murtala Muhammed International Airport and it will take 30 minutes to an hour to transfer into the city as congestion can make travelling on the roads a slow affair. Lagos car hire providers can be found at the airport but be prepared to spend some time in traffic because of the large, mobile population of the city. You can hop on minibuses or taxis within the city if you do not want to tackle the roadways yourself and make sure you keep a map with you to avoid losing yourself in the expansive metropolis. Close to Lagos is Badagry Town, a port which was built in the mid 15th century and still bears the marks of its former use, namely as a place where African slaves would begin their journeys. It is an hour's drive from the city but very much an essential sight after Lagos flights. Lagos harbour has its own man-made beach and bay area and nearby there is Lighthouse Beach.Flights To Lagos
