If you are after a quiet holiday and a chance to relax in peace and solitude, Magaluf is not the place for you! The resort is on the island of Mallorca in the district of Calvia which is also home to neighbouring Palma. Infamous as a favourite destination for the club 18-30 crowd, if you're in the mood to party then you've come to the right place. How to get there When to go What to do When it comes to nightlife in Magaluf there are simply too many bars and clubs to mention. Most of the action is centred around the Punta Ballena strip. Right in the centre of town is BCM nightclub which is the largest in Magaluf and attracts some of Europe's most famous DJs. Due to the popularity of Mallorca there are many airlines flying to Palma every day and you shouldn't have any problem in finding a cheap flight. Magaluf is only a few minutes transfer from the airport.
June, July, August and September are pretty hot in Magaluf, with temperatures averaging around 30C. It never gets too cold and even in the depths of winter temperatures get up to about 15C. It can rain a bit in the autumn and you can expect about 80mm of rain in October.
Magaluf has no less than three large, soft sandy beaches which are perfect for soaking up the warm Mediterranean sun. There are all of the usual water sports: water-skiing, jet skiing, scuba diving, sailing and parascending. There are two water parks within Magaluf itself and more nearby plus a host of theme parks within a short distance. If you're feeling brave you could have a go on the 'bungee rocket'!
