Flying Between Manchester and Jamaica

There are sporadic direct flights that connect Manchester with Montego Bay, Jamaica's second largest city. The flights, offered by Thomson Flights and Condor, typically run on Mondays (but be sure to check the timetables) and will usually take around 10 hours, so you can be sunning yourself in the Caribbean in next to no time.

Alternatively, there are also plenty of one and two stop services to the Jamaican capital, Kingston. British airways fly a regular service via Gatwick, which should only take between 12 and 15 hours.

The cheapest route is typically offered by US Airways, but do bear in mind that the US service stops twice and can take upwards of 20 hours, so think carefully before booking. To find the best route for you, take a look at our flight search tool.

Alternative Airports

If none of the Manchester flights fit your trip, there are plenty of alternatives. Thomson Flights also fly to Montego Bay from both Gatwick and Birmingham, while Virgin Atlantic fly out of Gatwick too. You can also fly direct to the capital, Kingston, from Gatwick with British Airways.

Getting Cheap Flights to Jamaica

If you are desperately keen to get yourself the best deal when planning your holiday in Jamaica, then you should consider travelling during the September-October period.

Demand for airfares is much lower during this period, and, as such, prices fall. One thing to be wary of, though, is that this is the peak rainy and hurricane season in the Caribbean, hence the reduced demand. On the plus side, you can still expect temperatures approaching 30 degrees without competing for space on the beach with hordes of tourists.
