How to get to Beijing

Visitors catching a flight to Beijing will arrive at the Beijing Capital International Airport which is located 26km north east of the city. The airport has three main terminals offering a myriad of services and car hire from Beijing Airport is easy to arrange. The city can also be reached by train from many cities around China as well as from Russia, Mongolia or North Korea.

Where to stay in Beijing

There are a few options for accommodation during your Beijing holidays. Upmarket hotels can be found in the central districts, notably the Dongcheng and Chaoyang Districts. It's also possible to find a great many three and four star hotels located throughout the city. Anyone planning cheap holidays in Beijing may be looking for dorm rooms which are also found in the Dongcheng District as well as the Xuanwu District. Further out of the city and close to the Great Wall of China are more resort-style dwellings and boutique hotels which offer a good place to discover the countryside as well as the city from.
