Travel Tips for Edinburgh

  • Scottish National Gallery of Modern ArtI like the way that they have all the greats but still a large collection of modern Scottish art too. You can make a day of it here as the sculpture garden is great and leads to a walk down to the Water of Leith.

  • Malleney GardenSuch a lovely (petite) garden! The old fashioned roses were my favourite but we had a lovely stroll in the woodland area too. Such a peaceful spot, we were rested and rejuvenated after our excursion here.

  • Edinburgh DungeonWith two youngish boys this is just the sort of thing that they love, all scare tactics and upping thefear ante. Actually it was a fun and interesting place, and I was even a little frightened at times!!
