 Bur Dubai
posted by bgibson This was my favourite area in Dubai, because it seems to have some authenticity and history in the streets. Some souks (although not the best ones), the Grand Mosque, the Hindu Temple and the Creek are all well worth a visit or two. Dubai Marina

posted by rkifer I loved it here! The pyramid shape of the hotel is amazing and the botanical garden was just exquisite. The areas of water, earth, wind and fire and perfectly created and I love the traveller's palm so was very pleased to see one here. Don't miss the stained glass either! Shajah and Ajman Tour
posted by cwegley MY wife and I went on this tour and we loved it. We went down the corniche (beach road) which was stunning, and then got the see the Al Majarra Souk, as well as the New Souk and the huge Faisal Mosque. Fun and cultural, really good. |
