Cala den Serra Beach
posted by klaborde This is a stunning spot on the northern tip of the island, a world away from the party vibe the island is known for. Be sure to take your beach umbrella and prepare for a day of total relaxation. Poblado de Balafia
posted by lkettlewell wow, it's like going back into the past when you show up here! Lovely little houses, although i'm sure the defence towers means that at some point they weren't quite as welcoming as they are today!!! Marina
posted by njelliman This is where you want to head if you're after a classy night out in Eivissa! Nothing but super-expensive yachts and post restaurants as far as the eye can see! Unfortunatley, our budget didn't quite stretch that far so we had to make do with a picnic on a jetty but there's a lovely atmosphere aroun ... more Ibiza Express

posted by bwilson We wandered around the old town one day and it was stunning, I didn't really expect it having only seen the strip the rest of the holiday. Amazing views from the battlements by the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Snows. |
dealchecker's guide to Ibiza
While Ibiza Holidays are often associated with super clubs and beautiful people cavorting to superstar DJ's playing at famous clubs like Cafe Mambo, the island is also a great place for family holidays. Ibiza is one of the Balearic Islands, which is a small archipelago off the east cost of Spain. The peak Ibiza holiday season runs from May through to September with the most popular months being June, July and August when the island is at its hottest (and holiday prices are at their most expensive). The island itself is unofficially split in two with the family resorts to the north and the hedonistic clubbers paradise closer to the south. In between you'll find the two main cities of San Antonio and Ibiza Town, the latter of which is the capital of Ibiza. Holidays are provided by all the major tour operators departing from many major UK airports such as London, Manchester, East Midlands and Glasgow. Once you get to Ibiza, hire a car to see more of the island. One thing you will notice is that, while it is not too difficult to find cheap holidays to Ibiza, once you get there, especially if you are going to take advantage of the world famous night life, your wallet can take a bit of a battering. The island is abundant with excellent restaurants and bars with prices on a par with London. In addition, the cost of drinks in the super clubs will make you sick long before the morning after because they are anything but cheap. Holidays in Ibiza can start from £130 for 7 nights 3 star self catering, but the island can also accommodate the more discerning traveller with luxury villas, private yachts and boat trip holidays. Ibiza or the 'White Isle' really does have something for everyone. Beautiful sunshine, beaches, night life and dining - start checking prices today.
