Travel Tips for Bangkok

 Wat Pho

I'd seen pictures but wasn't prepared for the scale of this temple! Huge reclining Buddha, beautiful grounds, it's the stuff exotic holidays are made for.

Part of the joy for me when on a city based holiday is to seek out the greet spots that the locals enjoy, and this is a small gem. It's dominated by a large lake but it's a great peaceful spot for a sit down or lunch. You can even take a raised walkway all the way to the next park!

The perfect tonic to city life. We were stuck in Bangkok for a week whilst travelling and this was our favourite place, pretty gardens, ponds and nice places to sit and raed. Also, you can see people play thai football!

Lovely temple and the buddhas outside were really interesting, they have such a variety it's cool to see.

Simultaneously both the weirdest and one of the most intriguing and imaginative places i've ever been. You'll first see the HUGE three-headed elephant on the roof and it doesn't get much less mad from there! Definitely get a guide and you'll be taken into the crazy world of the creator.
