When to visit Amalfi

It's probably best to avoid the middle two weeks of August when the majority of Italians take their annual holiday and the beach becomes very crowded indeed. Fortunately the summer temperatures rarely exceed 31 C and Amalfi is popular in winter too, as it usually stays above 10 C.
