The scale of the regeneration that has occurred over the last couple of decades is evident in the Potsdamer Platz which has become a mecca for shopping with a wide selection of cafes and bars to refresh in once you've finished browsing the shopping malls. The Alexanderplatz is perhaps the most famous square and the telecommunication tower at its heart offers the best panoramic view of the city. When in Berlin why not hire a car and explore the area?
