Cozumel is a beautiful tropical island in the Caribbean, located off the Yucatan Peninsula, South Mexico. It contains superb white sandy beaches, lovely, friendly locals and safe, happy streets. It is considered to be relatively competitive in terms of the pricing of food, drinks and places to stay in the local area. In 2005, Hurricane Wilma destroyed much of the island's buildings, but it has now been completely restored. Why not support this island by choosing to spend some of your money there in a visit or stay?
When choosing from the various hotels in Cozumel, there is a great deal of choice to be had, from luxury accommodation to cheap Cozumel hotels for the whole family. The majority of the cheap Cozumel hotels have their own private swimming pool, with some having access to the various paradise beaches dotted around the coastline.
Whilst the best weather is during the Summer months, being so close to the equator means that most Cozumel holidays are bathed in perpetual sunshine. A good time of year to perhaps avoid the area is during the Hurricane season, as some Cozumel flights may be cancelled because of bad weather. However, in a paradise such as this, what would a few extra days stranded mean? A few more days in the most beautiful, picturesque place on the Earth, able to taste fresh local produce at reasonable prices. A great choice for a holiday and a superb break for the whole family.
