Choosing a Koh Samui Hotel

A hotel in Koh Samui may range from luxury villas to budget apartments. Cheap Koh Samui hotels are found both in busy towns and secluded areas whilst some of the beaches are referred to as "party beaches" and others offer exclusive enclaves. Most hotels are situated close to the many beaches and the ring road around the island makes everywhere within easy reach. Cheap flights to Koh Samui are readily available from Bangkok, Hong Kong and Singapore.

When to visit Koh Samui

Mostholidays to Koh Samui can coincide with the many festivals which take place. The Annual Jazz Music Festival is held at various locations across the island each September, attracting thousands of visitors from all over the world. The annual bowling championships take place in May each year and, again create a large following. Cheap Koh Samui hotels are available throughout the island. Being in the southern part of Thailand, Koh-Samui has a tropical monsoon climate. Between April and June the temperatures are very hot indeed. Between July and November winds are very strong. The best time of year to visit is between late December and the end of March. The island is very dry but when it does rain it is heavy and may last a long time.
