Lesbos Hotels

Lesbos is a Greek island in the north eastern Agean Sea and it is the third largest island in Greece. Lesbos, or Lesvos, is one of the quieter islands and provides visitors with the opportunity to visit provincial Greece. Lesbos has some lovely little villages and some stunning beaches to visit. It has its own airport, Mytilene Airport and cheap Lesbos flights are available from many international destinations. The weather in Lesbos is generally mild and wet in the winter and warm and dry in the summer.

Many of the hotels are situated on the seafront and provide stunning views of the beaches and some cheap Lesbos hotels are to be found just outside the main centre of the island. There is a good range of hotel accommodation available in Lesbos, some situated in the more rural villages and others in the more lively beach areas.

When to visit Lesbos

Cheap holidays to Lesbos are great at any time of the year. Many of Lesbos's attractions are natural and are available to visit throughout the year, such as the Petrified Forest and Ipsilou Monastery. Lesbos has many hot springs and baths with temperatures reaching up to 90 degrees during the summer months. There are many sandy beaches on Lesbos that are generally quieter than those on some of the more lively islands. Although Lesbos is quieter it has an active nightlife across the island and particularly in the capital, Mytilene.
