Impressive remains, really cool actually and great to get out and see more of Marbella. We've been a couple of times and only just discovered this house. Mosaics are the best bit so keep an eye out.

This is a lovely beach although it can get busy. The dark sand is pretty unusual although when it gets hot it can be really HOT! Great facilities and plenty of bars right by you.

My friend and I ended up on holiday in Marbella because of the cheap price and we really needed to get away, and were very impressed with such a small place having such great entertainment. The port was the best of all, with loads of places to eat and enjoy yourself of and evening.

Marbella is one of Spain's most glamorous destinations. Fabulous villas dot the hillsides and incredible golf courses cover the Andalusian countryside. Situated on the Costa del Sol, this village has become as famous as the celebs that holiday here. So get yourself a deal on a Marbella hotel and head for the world class marina at Puerto Banus - who knows who you'll be rubbing shoulders with!

What to do
Marbella has some of the best golf courses in Spain, designed by the likes of Seve Ballesteros and Peter Alliss. The fantastic weather makes it a year round destination not just for golf but for the old school glamour that oozes from every palm-lined avenue and super-yacht.

You'll probably spend your days in the cafes, bars and restaurants on the waterfront. Here you can watch the world (and a few celebs) go by before putting on your party clothes and enjoying the famous nightlife. When to go
The best weather is in June, July and August and as a result finding a cheap hotel in Marbella at this time of year is not easy, but still possible. The best time to go is either side of summer in May, September and into October. The weather is still good and with fewer crowds your chances of bagging a bargain on Marbella accommodation are good as there are a number of cheap hotels.
