Prague Dancing House
posted by khawker I'm a huge Gehry fan and couldn't visit Prague without visiting this famous dancing house aka Fred and Ginger. It's marvellous, I don't know how he creates such motion in a building but it's wonderful. Mucha Museum
posted by qring My mum and I have been obsessed with Mucha for quite some time so it was complete heaven to be in the Mucha Museum and see some of the rarer works and to learn a little more about him. Church of St Michael
posted by kberkheimer We stumbled upon this by accident! It's a wooden church that looks totally crazy! We had to go back to our hotel to look it up online and found that it was built in the Ukraine and then moved to Prague centuries after!! National Museum
posted by fdean So much to see, there's other museums inside too which I didn't know, and it's a thoroughly majestic building to boot. Supremely interesting. Klaster Anezky Ceske
posted by ylacon The oldest gothic building in Prague would be worth a visit alone, but even better here you can get a look at bohemian medieval art, with some major pieces on show. |
