Vedbaek is a wealthy suburb of Copenhagen, which is probably best known for this is where the Danish football team gathers when they are preparing for a match. The habour is packed with probably the biggest display of luxury motor boats and sail boats in Denmark. If you like forrests and are staying in Copenhagen, you should visit Dyrehaven. Take the train to Klampenborg and the park is a short walk away.

If you decide to visit Denmark, Vedbaek is only about 10 miles away from Copenhagen, and you can easily get there by train. The main reason to visit Vedbaek is probably the forest, and also the shopping abilities in Troeroed. When visiting Vedbaek you really get a glimpse of how everydaylife is in Denmark. Vedbaek is perfect for a one-day-trip. The Troeroedschool is also an attraction in Vedbaek, and is really worth visiting.

The train from Copenhagen - and to Copenhagen - leaves every 20 minutes, and takes about half an hour.
