A relative small city (150,000 people) for China Standard, In the whole county, Zhongshan Manuciple claim to have 1.3 millions people, in additional another 1 million migrant workers.

Zhongshan has a relative active and properous industrial environment, however, it still manage to maintain certain orderly development, roads are relatively well maintain and highway construction seem to be a never ending project here.

My first impression of Zhongshan is like a small Chinese city in Malaysia, there are quite a few wealthy local people around, but they are still rather down to earth compare to the wealthy  people in the bigger city.

The area in central Zhongshan county is relative hilly with hot spring (over populated with tourist), hill station and village, have some rather pleasant country side in Southern China standard. during weekend it is also popular with Hong Kong Tourists, for sight seeing as Zhong shan is also famous as the home town for Chinese early revolutioner Sun Zhong Shan.
