Fuerteventura
Travel to Fuerteventura
Flights to Fuerteventura depart from all over the UK and with an ever-increasing number of budget airlines serving the island there are many flight deals to be had.
On arrival in Fuerteventura
Some holidays to Fuerteventura offer free transfers or they can be added to your package, but other options are a bit limited. Taxis are reasonably priced and are a good option if you don't want to hire a car. The airport is on the island's bus network (Puerto Del Rosario -Caleta- Las Salinas) but the routes are very limited so it may take a while if your destination is quite far.
Getting around Fuerteventura
If you're planning on travelling between resorts then the bus network is very useful, with regular services and nice air conditioned vehicles. To explore the wilder interior Fuerteventura car hire is necessary but be aware that your car hire insurance may not cover incidents that happen on dirt roads. There are lots of tours on offer that take groups in jeeps or on quad bikes over the rugged landscape.
