Summary

Thisluxury hotel was actually the very first hotel in London, opening in 1837. Thelegendary Brown’s Hotel islocated on Albemarle Street in the heart of Mayfair close to the West End theatres and the Bond St shops. In 2003 it joined the Rocco forte collection ofluxury hotels. It consists of 11 Georgian townhouses so it doesn’t feel crowded and has a very personal service.

There are 117 individually designed rooms including 29luxury suites and four even moreluxurious suites! Every room type has a TV with video on demand, internet, a bar and a safe. The rooms have been decorated in soft colours including special touches such as books by some of the more famous guestslike Winston Churchill and Rudyard Kipling (who wrote The Jungle Book here).
