The airport has one terminal. Check-in, the public concourse and Arrivals are on the ground floor. The departure lounge, duty-free shops and gates are on the first floor.
Reaching Luton Airport by car:
The airport is 15 minutes from the M25 and 5 minutes from the M1. Exit the M1 at junction 10 to get onto the A1081. Or, from the east and A1, you can take the A505 through Hitchin all the way to the airport.
Reaching Luton Airport by train:
East Midlands Trains and First Capital Connect run regular services from Central London (only 25 minutes), the south coast, the Midlands and northern England to Luton Airport Parkway Station. From there, take the 10-minute shuttle bus to the airport (runs every 10 minutes).
Reaching Luton Airport by bus or coach:
There are bus and coach links to central London and other London airports, local towns, Milton Keynes, Northampton, High Wycombe, Oxford, Cambridge and beyond.
Shops at Luton Airport: before security there is a number of places to shop, such as Cotton Traders, Marks & Spencer Simply Food, Rolling Luggage, Tie Rack, WHSmith and more. After security there's even more choice, including Accessorize, Boots, Dixons Travel, Hotel Chocolat, Kurt Geiger, Sunglass Hut, Voyager and more still.

The Someries business lounge by Servisair is open to all passengers and facilities include complimentary drinks and snacks and wi-fi access.
Business facilities are available at the on-site Holiday Inn Express (a short shuttle ride from the terminal), including 7 meeting and syndicate rooms, wi-fi access, equipment hire and catering on request. Meeting and conference facilities are also available at the on-site Ibis and Ramada Encore hotels (a 10-15 minute walk from the terminal).
Priority Set-Down is £1 for 10 minutes (or you can park for 30 minutes for free in the Mid Term car park).
Short, Mid and Long Term car parks: Short Term is just a few minutes' walk from the terminal, and a free bus transfer between the Mid and Long Term car parks and the terminal building runs every 15 minutes.
Free motorcycle parking is available in the Short Term car park.
Disabled parking bays are available in the Short, Mid and Long Term car parks. A Meet and Greet service is available.
Car hire at Luton Airport is available through Alamo, Avis, Enterprise, Europcar, Hertz and National. It's advisable to compare prices in advance to get the best deal .
There are three hotels on-site: Holiday Inn Express (served by a shuttle bus service to the airport), Ibis and Ramada Encore (both a 10-15 minute walk from the terminal).
