€ Euros. The best place to exchange money in Malaga is a bank, although you will need to show your ID. The other option is an exchange bureau which is slightly less hassle but the rates are less favourable. ATMs across Malaga and Costa del Sol resorts are also a great source of cash at a good exchange rate, just check your bank charges for hidden fees.

Language:

Spanish - although the Malaga accent is quite thick so may take some getting used to if you speak the language. English is very widely spoken at most of the tourist places. You'll probably need a few Spanish phrases to get by on public transport where there are few people who speak English.
