Marmaris

Hot Spots

Town Centre

The town centre is the centre of all the entertainment in Marmaris, with plenty of restaurants, bars and nightclubs. The town centre gets very busy every night over the summer months with revellers who have come to party on their holidays.

Marina

Marmaris Marina also has its fair share of restaurants, but evenings on the waterfront tend to be a bit quieter. For the ultimate in romance you can have dinner and then go on a midnight boat tour of the bay, soaking up the quiet and watching the twinkling lights of the city.

Old Town

Marmaris Castle and the winding streets around it are perfect for an afternoon wander. The castle has great views of the bay and it's lovely to see get a glimpse into the ancient heart of Marmaris. The castle gardens make a great place to spend some time relaxing as an alternative to the beach.

Beach

Marmaris Beach is a mix of sand and shingle and the water is warm and clear. With free sunloungers and cafes nearby to furnish you with drinks and snacks the beach is well set up for a whole day of sunbathing without the need to venture very far. During the peak tourist season it can get crowded, but the nearby beach at IƧmeler is generally much less busy and makes for a nice change of scene. You can even walk there along the promenade if you're feeling energetic.
