Travel to Maspalomas

Located on the south coast of Gran Canaria, Maspalomas is a pretty tourist town with plenty to see and do. Famous for its spectacular dunes and white beaches, a holiday in Maspalomas is perfect for those looking for sun, sea and sand. Playa de Maspalomas beach is said to be the best on the whole island and stretches for over a mile in length. La Charca lagoon and Maspalomas Lighthouse are must-sees during your trip and you'll find plenty of activities on offer from golf to water sports.

There are plenty of airlines offering direct flights to Maspalomas and flights land at Las Palmas Airport on the east side of the island. Low-cost carrier Ryanair offers cheap flights from Bristol, Glasgow Prestwick, Edinburgh, London Stansted, East Midlands, London Luton and Liverpool while easyJet offers affordable flights from London Gatwick. A cheaper option is to take the bus, and bus #66 travels between the airport and the resort, just be sure to check the timetable before you travel. Alternatively, car hire in the Canary Islands is a convenient option to get to your Maspalomas hotel and hire cars can be collected from the airport. For the best deals, it's a good idea to book in advance.
