...in particular, the majestic cities of Rome, Venice and Sienna. The culture, the architecture, the attitude to life are all sublime, and most importantly Italian people know how to enjoy life so much that you can't help but follow suit when visiting, because as we all know, when in Rome...(!)

USA

Huge, diverse and endlessly fascinating, the USA is a great place to visit. From California to Boston and New York, I've given it all a go — and loved every second.

MIDDLE EUROPE

Berlin in Germany is one of my favourite cities in the world; I visited once a few years ago and I just keep going back for more! I've also got lots of knowledge about other middle European countries and am full of travel tips, so just ask.

CULTURE

From theatre, to music, museums art and everything in between, I'm always the first to unearth a cultural treat when I'm travelling to a new country...Just ask, and I'll be happy to give you a recommendation!

ENTERTAINMENT

From theme park holidays to theatre city breaks, I love a holiday with some entertainment thrown in...if you can't get away to exotics shores then its surely the next best thing?!

TRAVEL TIP - "I'm a bit of a foodie, so before I go away I ask everyone I've ever known who loves food and travel as much as I do where they love. From tiny family bistros to the best ice cream in the city...never mind guide books, use your friends! Failing that, asking locals for suggestions is always a sure-fire way of ending up with a plateful of something delicious!"

WHAT'S A GREAT DEAL FOR YOU?

I like luxury as much as the next girl, but I'm more than happy to slum it if it means I get to do more with my time. However, a great deal for me is one where I'm paying reasonable money and NOT living in squalor, as here at dealchecker we don't believe we should have to pay through the nose for half decent living arrangements!
