My colleagues think I'm a bit like Scrooge but if it wasn't for me they wouldn't be able to offer you such great holiday deals! The dealchecker ethos is all about getting the most out of your budget, and I try to keep that in mind. When I'm not pinching pennies, I like to get away to hot destinations like Egypt and Barcelona - the hotter the better!

I've become quite an expert at keeping small children entertained - I have three! I've learned over the years that there are some places in the world that really cater for kids and some that don't - and I'm happy to share that wisdom with you.

In my opinion, this is one of the most amazing countries in the world. History, culture and hot weather - what more could you want from a holiday?

CRUISE

I've been to the Caribbean, around the Med and even on a Norwegian Fjords Cruise and loved every second! There's so much to do on board, and I love the feeling of going to sleep in one place and waking up in another!

Definite Sun lounger. I don't understand those 'on the go' types, they run around all holiday and then come back and say they need another holiday. It's called a holiday for a reason!
