Miami Weather

Miami enjoys long hot summers and short mild winters. The height of the summer can be very hot - the heat reaches up to 30°C for months at a time. Miami is also rather humid with a wet season which runs from May to October. Rain falls predominantly in afternoon thunderstorms which are a welcome relief in the heat. Rainfall is significantly lower the rest of the time and temperatures of about 24°C are typical.

Miami's Tourist Season

December to April are the busiest months for Miami, as tourists flock in from across the USA as well as from overseas. Conversely June to September are the quietest times when you're most likely to find a big reduction on a Miami holiday. Although you shouldn't expect to find Miami all to yourself, it's a popular destination all year round. To take advantage of reasonable good weather and slightly cheaper prices then May and October to November are great times to go.
