The three-star Globales Tamaimo Tropical Hotel is located in a quiet spot not far from Los Gigantes, so it's easy to visit this resort on foot. There are five pools, as well as a jacuzzi, and plenty of space to soak up the much-needed sun. Take time to stroll the gardens or perhaps play on the tennis courts.

Kids are well catered for as well with their own pool and a dedicated entertainment programme. The surrounding area has a range of shops and places to eat and drink, and a choice of activities from horse riding to snorkelling.
