Singapore Weather

Singapore has a tropical climate and experiences little change in weather throughout the year. May and June are the hottest months whilst November and December experience the most rain. Temperatures range from 23°C to just above 30°C and humidity can often top 90%, especially in the mornings, although afternoons tend to be more comfortable at around 60%.

Singapore Festivities

The most popular times to visit Singapore are during festivities. As a multicultural society with a melting pot of religions there are plenty to choose from. Chinese New Year in January starts the year with a bang, and then in June the Art Festival brings culture to the island. September brings the Chinese Lantern Festival, November the Hari Raya Puasa festivals marking the end of fasting for the Malay Muslims and in December the Indian festival of light Divali brings lights, culture and music.

Cheapest Time to Visit

Visiting outside the periods of festivity is a cheaper way to visit with the added bonus of fewer tourists, meaning more space at the attractions. Since the weather is good all year round there isn't really an off-season so the prices never drop really low, but booking Singapore hotels well in advance can help you get a great deal.
