Tenerife

Hot Spots

North Tenerife

North Tenerife has a lot to offer in the way of spectacular scenery from flat plains to mountains and gorgeous beaches. The region also holds both Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the islands new capital and La Laguna, the old one. Although the temperature in North Tenerife may not reach the same highs it does in the south, and rain is slightly more likely, the culture, vibrancy and the history of the cities more than make up for it.

South Tenerife

With year-round sun and a reputation for excellent nightlife the south of Tenerife island is a mecca for those seeking sunbathing and dancing the night away. All of Tenerife's main resorts are here including Playa de las Americas, Costa Adeje and Los Cristianos. South Tenerife caters to the tourist trade with restaurants serving a wide range of foods from Chinese to English to the more traditional dishes, and English, German and Italian being the predominant languages.
