The Museum of Fine Arts has a really great collection and it's free to get into too which is wonderful! We took a trip here when the rain came and were pleasantly surrised by the high quality of the exhibits. I loved the textiles and furniture the best.

My wife and I had a really lovely morning here, luckily there weren't too many kids so we could go on most of the interactive stuff! Great information about the history of the twon as well as some lovely bits of art from the region.

Beautiful collection of fine art by Spanish artists. We watched a great short film 'Black and White' which documents historic Alicante.

My wife and would thoroughly recommend a visit to MUBAG, Alicante's museum of fine art. Exhibitions range from the beginning of the 16th Century to the early 20th Century and documents the evolution of art. The gallery itself is housed in an 18th century mansion.
