This is THE place to go for a beach party in the evening! Everyone gathers and there's plenty to do. One night there was a huge bonfire but mostly it's music, dancing etc etc

El Saldavor/Urbanova Beach

This seems to be a locals-only place, although they don't frown on tourists it just seems like they don't know about it. So that makes it quiet, and it really is the most stunning beach in Alicante, great views and lovely water, I can see why they want to keep it a secret!

Now this is waht you think of when you want a beach on holiday. Huge for the kids to play about on, clean, and plenty of space so you're not on top of some strangers.

El Postiguet Beach

Even in winter the weather in Alicante is great for sitting on the beach and chilling out, although sunbathing is out of the question! The sea is even ok for a paddle! El Postiguet beach was really close to our hotel and really nice.

Explanada d'Espanya

Explanada d’Espanya is an extending part of the yacht harbour, and it includes a promenade of mosaic sidewalks under the palms. All the boulevards are clean and lined with unlimited shopping options which attract many locals, as well as tourists.
