Santa Barbara Castle

Magnificent building and wonderful views. My mate and I walked all the way up there after a bit of a large one on the town and sat up there til dawn which was pretty cool.

You can't really miss this when you come to Alicante, it's so dominating up on its hill. I love the moorish architecture and the views are just spectacular.

Balloon Ride

My wife surprised me with a balloon ride over Alicante for my birthday when we were on holiday there and it was A-MAZING. Totally loved it, what beautiful scenery they have in Spain. What a treat!

Santa Barbara Castle

This is a massive fortress - or rather a series of fortresses. The top fortifications date from the 14th century and the bottom from the 18th century. It's really impressive and the iconic view of Alicante. Asside from the wonderful old fortifications to admire, you'll have the stunning views of the bay to enjoy.

Absolutely lovely castle, with magnificent views. A bit of a tough climb for some in our party but the kids just flew up!!
