I was lucky enough to be within walking distance of this lovely long beach on my last holiday to Almeria. The beach is ridiculously long so you can always find somewhere quiet if you want it, but there are bars and hangouts too if you fancy some company or mixing with other people.

My man and me were on a tour of the region and we came across the small villages and vinyards of Las Alpujarras and we were hooked. Delightful place, really friendly and relaxed, with stunning views and great food.

Parque Nicolas Salmeron

This long park is a great place to grab some shade and enjoy the breeze off the water, and makes a great change from the beach for somewhere to chil out and watch the world go by. Admittedly, my friends and I got some odd looks for sunbathing there but we enjoyed it!
