For decades, the story of Anne Frank has given a voice and a face to the holocaust. That is why when I was recently in Amsterdam, I made sure to make a trip to the Anne Frank House in order to honor her and her family. In this house, now a museum, the artifacts and exhibits poignantly made it more real.

City Break with a twist of culture. I travelled with my husband and another couple, would not recommend for a girly weekend, the area is dominated by mostly male parties on stag weekends and hash benders! We stayed in the Fashion and Museum District which I would definitely recommend for couples who enjoy being in control of the sights they see. Exclusive part of Amsterdam with designer shops and museums on the door step of the hotel.
