Walking Tours

You meet up with a tour guide who walks all through the city (we took the walk through Athens tour) where you see the city center, with the modern day contrasted with the ancient ruins which was fascinating. There is so much history all around you and it is wonderful to have a local pointing it all out to the visitor. We also saw the stadium where the first modern day Olympics were held. It was a great way to view the city.

This is an amazing historical site of the ancient Greek civilization. It is all the more amazing because it was built so long ago, and it is still not understood how the ancient people accomplished such a feat.
