The War Museum of Athens is basically dedicated to war/ fighting. So generally speaking the guys love the place. The museum ranges from Stone Age artifacts to our most resent ways to kill each other. However, it is interesting and well done. There is even a cockpit of a fighter plane that you can climb in and experience. The museum is closed on Mondays and of course has a gift shop.

Originally housed in a small room next to the city's synagogue, the Jewish Museum of Greece became a full-fledged reality with its own building in 1998. The museum once housed the delicate and salvaged manuscripts and artifacts from the 19th and 20th centuries that survived the ravages of World War II, but over the years its collections expanded and it became a center for research and study. The museum is filled with cultural treasures and is open Monday through Friay from 9 - 2:30 and Sundays from 10:00 - 2:00. Closed Saturdays. This is a museum that is best for adults of mature children.
