Attica Zoological Park

A great family day out. It's the third largest bird park in the world and we spent hours just spotting the amazing varieties. There's also plenty of other animals who keep a little more still!! Really fun.

National Gardens

Whenever I am in Athens, and am looking for a relaxing way to spend the afternoon, I always head to the National Gardens. The setting is so incredibly tranquil, and I love sitting by the duck pond and watching the ducks squabble over scraps of bread. There is also a small zoo which they kids wish was bigger, but enjoy.
