This is a really moving experience and a fantastic tribute to one of Atlanta's most important sons. It covers in total a four block area and the highlights in my opinion are the birth house of Martin Luther King and the nearby church where three generations of his family preached.

Tour the headquarters of the CNN news corporation. Its agreat opportunity and really interesting to see behind the scenes of the evening news. Highlights are the birds eye view of the newsroom, especially interesting as you're so accustomed to thinking of the news up close and front on, and the world's tallest free standing escalator which rises up eight stories. The tour lasts about an hour and costs $13.

The World of Coca Cola is a monument to perhaps the most famous brand in the world. Its got plenty of exhibits and is actually a really interesting journey through the evolution of the brand and through Americana in a broader sense. There are also tastings of some of the weird drinks from around the world that opperate under the Coca Cola brand.

If you were ever wondering where the biggest piece of exposed granite in the world is... its in Atlanta, Georgia. Its quite an incredible sight forming a massive dome shape and with some incredible bas reliefs carved into it representing three figures of the Confederate States of America. God only knows how they managed to get the carvings onto the rock face, i suppose its inaccessibility was the reason it took 60 years to complete.
