A really fun and vibrant place thronging with artistic feeling. A blend of traditional Thai and western stylings there's so much to see, be sure to leave half a day or so!

IT's just like spepping back into the past when you arrive here, everything seems so timeless like it could have been standing there for thousands of years. Lovely to see all the old buildings, and it made me wish that I could stay and not head back to the bustle of bangkok. Lovely houses and gardens and great art colleciton.

A double hit of culture here, with some exquisite art as well as it being housed in an 18th century palace. I really loved the examples of Thai architecture too, all round it's graet here.

Wat Traimit

This temple would be almost completely unremarkable, were it not for the fact that it houses one of the largest pieces of solid gold anywhere in the world. The 13th century Buddha statue weighs five and a half tons and is absolutely incredible to behold.
